Swiss scientist gave a lecture at faculty of history

On november,2017 year guest of the faculty history was Swiss scientist slavinist Lorenzo Amberg. Guest of the faculty delivered lecture on theme concern to 100th Anniversary of the October Revolution, discussion subject was Lenin and Solzhenitsyn in Zurich. Swiss scientist talked about the life of Russian revolutionaries in Zurich also showed the parralel between two personalities like Lenin and Solahenitsyn. He also touched the Russian`s plans and the role of Switzerland in activities of both individuals. At the end of lecture, Dr Amberg answered the question from students and teachers of faculty of history.

Scientist Lorenzo Amberg was born in Berne in 1953 year, was admitted to the University of Geneva ( Slavic Studies and German Studies) in 1972 year. He graduated with honors in 1978 year, same University for long time he worked in diplomatic mission of Switzerland in Balgrade (1997-2000) years, Ambassador of Georgia (2000-2010) years and Greece (2010-2015) years.
