  • She was born in Baku in the family of employee on September 19, 1946.
  • She has graduated from secondary school in Baku in 1965.
  • She has studied in the history faculty of Baku State University in 1967-1973.
  • Since 1969 she have been working in the department “Source history, historiography and methods”.
  • She defended Ph.D. thesis in 1987. She has recieved scientific name of assistant professor in 1995.

  • She has graduated from the history faculty of Baku State University in 1973.
  • She hasmaintained Ph.D. thesis in the theme “Development of the lihgt industry in the years of the ninth fives” in 1987.
  • She worked on the thesis for a doctor’s degree in the theme “Ahmadbay Agaogli’s public-social views.”
Work Experience
  • She has worked in the Office of Teaching and Methods in the Institute of Oil and Chemistry named after M. Azizbayov from February till December of 1969.
  • She has worked a laboratory assistant at the department of History of the USSA of History faculty of Baku State University in 1969-1973.
  • . She has worked as a head labaratory assistant in 1973-1975.
  • She worked as a teacher in 1980-1986 first, then head teacher in 1986-1991, since 1991 in the post of assistant professor at the Department of Source Studies, Historiography and Methodology of History faculty of Baku State University.
  • She is carring out lectures and seminars on the subjects Historiograpy of Azerbaijan history, Sources of Azerbaijan history, Urgent problems of history science, Methodological problems of historical investigations and organize scientific discussions with students

  • She is taken part in translating 2 textbooks from Russian to Azeri about USSR History.
  • 2 persons defended Ph.D. thesis under her leadership.
  • She has compiled the curricilum for the subject “Source Studies of Azerbaijan history” (for bachelor degree) and “Methodological problems of historical investigations” (for masters degree) which was firstly introduced after 1991 in history faculties of higher educational institutions of Azerbaijan educational system.
  • These programs are used in some higher educational institutions of the republic at present.
  • She has been honoured and rewarded by name “The best teacher of the year” of Baku State University in 2003.
Area of research
  • Learning of well-known thinker of Azerbaijan Ahmadbay Agaoglu’s socio-political activites and views at the end of the 19-th and begining 20-th century.
