The brief biographic information

  • Hatamov Rovshan was born on 29th december in 1966 in Neftchala.
  • In 1983 He was admitted to the department of history, Baku State University.
  • In 1987 to continue his education, he was sent to the department of history of Saint Petersburg State University by BSU and Azerbaijan Ministry of Education .

Education,Academic Degrees Obtained

  • In 1990 He graduated from history department of Saint Petersburg University with distinguished diploma .
  • In 2006 He defended a thesis called “ Azerbaijan factor in German –Ottoman relations ( 1917-1918 ) “.

Work Experience

  • In 1990 He began to work as a head laboratory assistant at scientific research laboratory of History department at Baku State University.
  • In 1991-1992 worked as scientist at Azerbaijan material –cultural history SRL.
  • In 1992 He began to work as a head laboratory assistant at the department of newtime and modern history of European and American countries.
  • He worked as an assistant in 1993-1995 , as a teacher in 1995-1996 and in 1996-2007 as a head teacher.
  • Now He is working as a professor assistant at this department.
  • He teaches “ New time history of European and American Countries” , “Newtime history of Europe “ and “ History of Canada “.
  • He is an author of 22 scientific articles and other methodic resources.

Area of research

  • XVIII century French Bourgeois-Democratic Revolution in the memoirs of its followers ;
  • Caucasus Policy of German and Ottoman Empire during World War I;
  • British ,French, Prussian and Austrian monarches during XVII- XIX centuries.
