International Conference "March 31: History and Reality" March 30-31, 2022, Baku State University

On March 30-31, 2022, the Baku State University will organize an international scientific conference with the theme "March 31: History and Reality".

Professors, researchers, doctoral students, and dissertation candidates are invited to attend the conference.

We are expecting for valuable researchers at the conference with new and interesting research.

Important dates:

Deadline for abstract submission – 14 march 2022

Conference date – 30-31 march 2022

Conference topics:

  • Crimes against humanity, the problem of genocide in historical research
  • 1918 Massacres in Sources
  • 24 April Armenian fiction and real history
  • The problem of genocide in the studies of the independence period
  • Cooperation of Azerbaijani and Turkish historians in Genocide Studies
  • The Problem of Genocide in European and American Historiography

Conditions for participation in the conference:

- The topics presented at the conference should correspond to the theme of the conference.

- Theses are accepted in Azerbaijani, Turkic dialects, English and Russian languages.

- If plagiarism is detected, the thesis will not be accepted.

- Theses submitted to the conference will be accepted after a positive review by the Scientific Committee.

- Abstracts that do not meet the requirements established by the Organizing Committee will not be accepted.

- Abstracts of those who did not speak at the conference will not be published.

- Abstracts should be sent from the personal e-mail address of each participant in the form with the name of the author, in Word format.

- Abstracts should be sent to the e-mail address

The conference participation requirement:

-        The topics presented at the conference should be in line with the theme of the conference.

-        Theses will be accepted in Azerbaijani, Turkish dialects, English and Russian

-        Plagiarized theses will not be accepted.

-        Theses submitted to the conference will be accepted after the positive opinion of the Scientific Committee.

-        Theses that do not meet the requirements set by the Organizing Committee will not be accepted.

-        Theses of those who did not report at the conference will not be published.

-        Theses sent to the conference should be sent from everyone's personal e-mail address, in the Word file, with the author's last name in the file.

-        Theses should be sent to the e-mail address master_tarix@bsu.edu.az

Writing guidelines:

-        Text sizes: Times New Roman, size 12, interval 1.

-        Subject and information about the author must be written in the center: all the title should be in capital letters (Bold), the author's name, surname in dark color (Bold), instituting of belonging, academic degree, scientific name and e-mail address.

-        Keywords: 5-6 basic concepts in two languages ​​according to the name and content of the report.

-        The text should be at least 1500, at most 2000 words (excluding translation of the thesis and bibliography). The thesis should cover the main ideas, relevance, scientific significance, innovations and results on the topic.

-        Tables and figures attached to the thesis Table 1, Table 2; should be listed and named in the order shown in Figure 1, Figure 2. For example, Table 1. Population of the Republic of Azerbaijan (according to the 1999 census)

-        All literature and internet resources used should be listed in alphabetical order at the end.

-        The author, name, year and place of publication, general page of the used literature should be specified.

-        All used literature and internet sources, the author of the cited work or information, the title of the article or information, hyperlink and reference date should be written first.

-        Theses must be submitted after full editing.
