The brief biographic information

• Irada Huseynova was born in Baku.
• In 1985 she graduated from the faculty of history of internal department of Baku State University with honor.

Education,Academic Degrees Obtained

• In 1985 she graduated from the faculty of history of internal department of Baku State University with honor.
• Defended Ph.D. thesis and then doctoral thesis. Her doctoral thesis was dedicated to the topic «The role of Heydar Aliyev in formation and strengthening of independent Azerbaijan».

Work Experience

• To continue her scientific-pedagogical studies, she was retained at the university by the decision of Academic council.
• At present she is the professor of Baku State University. She was awarded with a high title of Honored Teacher of Azerbaijan Republic.
• Today, Irada Huseynova is the author of 150 scientific works,
• Irada Huseynova is a member of Expert Body of Supreme Attestation Commission attached to President of Azerbaijan Republic, also full member of Pedagogical Academy of Russian Federation and New York Academy of Sciences. She is a deputy-chair of Presidium of Scientific-methodological council.
• In October of 2006 she was appointed the member of intergovernmental commissions between Azerbaijan- Republic of Belarus and Azerbaijan – Moscow by the decrees of President of Azerbaijan Republic Ilham Aliyev.
• For active reports in periodic press dedicated to historical, political-statehood problems, Irada Huseynova was awarded with the prize «Banner of Azerbaijan» and «Golden pen». She is an editor-in-chief of scientific-methodological journal «History. Man. Society».
• I.Huseynova is a member of Political board of the leading party «Yeni Azerbaycan», chairwoman of Women's Council of the party «Yeni Azerbaycan» in BSU.
• In 2000 she was nominated as a candidate to deputy of National Assembly on a proportional system
• By the decree of President of Azerbaijan Republic Heydar Aliyev dated of August 7, 2002 she was appointed deputy-minister of education of Azerbaijan Republic.

Participation in the international conferences, symposiums and seminars

• Irada Huseynova represented science and education of Azerbaijan in many international scientific symposiums and conferences conducted in the USA, France, Canada, Bulgaria, Russia, Turkey, Italy, Sweden, Georgia, Turkmenistan, Belarus and other countries, where she made serious scientific reports.
