- She was born on January 22nd, 1966 in the city of Lankaran, Azerbaijan.

- She graduated from the Moscow State University, Department of History in 1989
- She defended the dissertation work called “Problem trade in silk of Azerbaijan with Ottoman empire in modern Turkish Historiographies (II half XV-beginning of XVII century)”.
