The brief biographic information

• A.R.Bagirova was born in Ganja in 1955. Studied in school №15 in1962-1972 in Baku
• Studied at Baku State University Oriental Studies faculty in 1972-1977, which she graduated with honors.
• 1977-1980 - interpreter of Arabic in Republic of Iraq. 1980-1993 – National Academy of Sciences; head laboratory assistant, junior researcher, researcher, senior researcher.
• Studied post-graduate course in USSR Academy of Sciences Institute of Oriental Studies in 1980-1984 and successfully defended her candidate thesis on “Iraqi Ba’th party: ideology and policy (1952-1963)”.
• Since 1993 assistant professor in faculty of history of BSU, chair of history of Asian and African countries, senior lecturer since 1996.
• Author of more than 50 articles, a number of monographs, manuals, programs
